Тим Боровски о Вердере и Баварии:
Borowski: This is modern football: many direct passes, which are played vertically to the front to exploit weaknesses in the back four. In Barcelona they have been playing this system since five years, here in Bremen since roundabout three years and in the national team since two years.
11 Freunde: If this is modern football, why doesn’t the FC Bayern play as attractively as Werder?
Borowski: Because Bayern has a different philosophy. With all force, we want to quickly by-pass the pitch with few contacts. Bayern doesn’t do that or does it differently and that’s why their game is not as beautiful as ours (smiles).
11 Freunde: Do you have an explanation why Magath lets them play like that?
Borowski: Honestly, I rather occupy myself with our system than with the ones of others.
11 Freunde: But you meet a lot of Bayern-players on the national team. Do they agree with the system that is being used in Munich?
Borowski: There are not many Bavarians anymore (laughs). Only this much: I have heard lots of positive voices of national squad mates regarding our philosophy.
Я не собираюсь критиковать Баварию – каждый играет в тот футбол, в который считает нужным, но их стиль и правда смотрится слегка старомодным, как мне показалось.. или я не права?
